- On the Record screen, choose what you're recording (vocals, electric guitar, bass…), then press Record. The song plays and you sing or play along. Use headphones so the song doesn't get into the mic.
- On the Song Timeline, select a take to move it, trim its edges, split it, or change its volume.
- Record Again re-records just that stretch, starting a bar early so you can hear your way in.
- Takes in a Row keeps looping the stretch, keeping every pass, until you tap Stop.
- Tap Take 1, Take 2… to hear each one in the song. Use another take here swaps just a piece.
- Right after you record, the take opens in a short panel: Listen Alone, Listen in the Song, then Keep, Redo, Delete or Tweak (its volume, effects and Pitch Correction). Later, tap a take on the timeline, then Listen & Tweak.
- Pitch Correction moves your singing toward the notes of the song's key. Speed goes from Natural to the robotic effect; Back to the Original undoes it any time.
