Finishing is the moment your song is done: the mix is kept as a recording that stays just as it is. The song itself stays yours to change — finish it again whenever you like, for version 2, 3…

  1. Tap Save (bottom right in Beginner). Your song is already saved — it saves itself as you go. Here you choose what else to do: keep it in a folder, save a copy to Files, finish it, make it sound finished, or share it.
  2. How it sounds: Make it sound finished balances everything; nudge anything louder or quieter, and try a mastering style.
  3. Tap Finish my song. Name it, and choose where it's kept: on its own, in a folder you have, or New Folder… (an album, an EP, songs for the band).
  4. Tap Finish It. Your finished song is made and plays through — Your song is finished. Share it, Save a copy to Files, or Keep working on it.
  5. Changed it since? The Save page says so, and Finish it again keeps the new mix as the next version. Every finished version is kept.
  6. In Songs, a folder is its own section, and finished songs say Finished (or Finished · v2). Tap any song to open it and keep changing it.
